Sorry for being super Canadian, but I apologize for my somewhat lengthy absence from the blog. I had no idea that the web development course would take up the majority of my spare time. It’s over now and I think I have sort of have a better idea of what I want to do and which path I want to take. I’ll be writing a follow-up post to C is for shortly.
You know how they say you’re your own worst critic? I think for me it’s also you’re your own worst motivator. I find it easy to provide advice, support and motivation for others, but motivating myself is something that doesn’t come naturally. This alphabet came out of boredom and frustration .Feel free to add your own bits in the comments and hopefully it will help you if you’re currently in a slump.

This alphabet was brought to you by the letters “M”, “T” and “B”.
Love this post! I had a good laugh on X and I love zig zag for Z. SO true that life doesn’t go in a straight line!!
I actually learned how to play the xylophone briefly when I was a kid. For some reason they were the instruments to play at the school Christmas concert. Glad you enjoyed it. 🙂
Karen,
Have you seen the post that circulates on Facebook about success that goes…
“What people think success looks like: *Straight line from bottom left to top right*
What success actually looks like: *Squiggly line going back and forward with a general trend from bottom left to top right*”
It’s a nice graphic that I’m not able to post in here but is worth checking out. It would satisfy Letter Z of your alphabet!

I couldn’t find it on Facebook when I did a search on it, but when I googled that phrase, I found the image. I feel like my life has been a very squiggly line. Lol. I hope that means I’m on my way to being successful.
Maybe X-rays? Medical problems are the leading cause of bankruptcy… or you could make X-rays into a metaphor of some sort for looking deep inside for more motivation. Either way, great list. I too find that I’m a much more supportive friend and less harsh critic when I’m doing it for others than I ever am for myself.
X-rays as a metaphor. I never thought of that. Very interesting!
