Surveys. Questionnaires. Evaluations.
They are pretty much everywhere. We are often asked to fill them out whether it be in person, online or over the phone.
Back in university, I remember having to do an evaluation of the course and instructor on the last day of class. I’ll be honest, I was pretty lazy when it came to filling those things out. Unless they were an amazing instructor, I just checked off the appropriate boxes.
I would get annoyed whenever telemarketers would call and ask if I had some time to spare. I would either cut them off or hang up. Rude, I know, but I think they are used to it.
The odd times I would fill out a survey, would be if there was some incentive. It seems pretty much every store receipt has a link to an online survey that gives you a small chance to win a prize.
A couple of days ago, I came across a post about making a reader survey for your blog from Brian @ Luke1428,
I thought to myself. WOW. What a simple, yet EFFECTIVE idea.
So I have created a reader survey (I called it a blog survey, but you know what I mean. Reader survey. Blog survey. Same idea. 🙂 ) because I am REALLY CURIOUS (and a bit nervous) to hear what you guys think. There are a lot of you out there who visit the blog, but don’t leave comments. Now’s your chance to let yourself be heard.

I do apologize, there is no financial incentive for taking the survey. But hey, if you’re bored/waiting in line/have a few minutes to spare, then please fill it out.
I will post the results at the end of the month. I hope I have at least a few responses! 🙂
THANK YOU IN ADVANCE!!! 🙂
Very cool idea- I would like to have that same type of information from my readers! I guess it’s time to add a survey to my very long list of things to get done. Thanks for sharing and great post too.
